Laney Eichelberger

Preston County native Laney Eichelberger loves a lot of things about West Virginia, but two Mountain State hallmarks take the buckwheat cake: rich storytelling traditions and extraordinary biodiversity. When she’s not writing at a local cafe, you’ll find her amongst the trees re-reading Mary Oliver poems, snapping photos of all creatures six-legged or slimy, or splashing through a creek with her English springer spaniel, Persephone.
